This youngest hill station of India, Mirik is a peaceful and tranquil hill resort, which is situated close to Darjeeling, but far away from the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling. By Rail: The nearest Broad guage rail station is new Jalpaiguri, which is 60km away from Mirik. The nearest toy train stations to Mirik are Ghoom (41km), Kurseong (46km) and Darjeeling (49km).

By Road: Mirik is well connected with Siliguri, Kurseong and Darjeeling.
