History Of City Palace

The City Palace in Jaipur was built between 1729 and 1732 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. This stunning palace, which mixes Mughal and Rajput styles, was designed by the architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. Over the years, various rulers added their own touches, making the palace even more magnificent. The City Palace was where the Maharajas of Jaipur lived and held their grand ceremonies. Today, it’s a fascinating place for visitors, with its beautiful courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Inside, there’s a museum that showcases royal artifacts, clothes, and old manuscripts, offering a peek into the royal life of Jaipur’s past.
