Jaswant Thada, located near Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, is a beautiful cenotaph built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, who ruled Jodhpur from 1873 to 1895, was known for his efforts to modernize the state, including infrastructure improvements and administrative reforms.
